We're launching on DAB and naming Studio 2. All on the same day!
ALL FM is launching on DAB from this Friday 20th October at 7pm.
This will increase our reach to a potential of over one million people across Manchester and Salford.
Director, Ed Connole said: “ALL FM’s ethos is ‘by the community, for the community’, so being able to engage audiences on DAB means we can continue to be inclusive, dynamic and talk with communities across the city.”
And we're also naming Studio Two to ‘The Claire Mooney Studio’. Claire will lead the official naming ceremony, prior to the DAB launch. Claire was a longtime presenter on ALL FM, co-hosting Saturday morning’s ‘ALL Out’ show. She was the first patron of Manchester Pride and in 2021 received the Lord Mayor of Manchester’s Special Recognition Award for her work with women and girls, workers’ rights and tackling homophobia in the city.
Ed adds: “Claire is a wonderful role model and ambassador for Manchester, her values reflect those of ALL FM. ‘The Claire Mooney Studio’ sounds a lot better than ‘Studio Two’!
