Manchester Voices: The ALL FM Radio Play Writing Project

Monday, December 19th, 2011

Nine new plays have been written by the writers on the project  covering a range of issues, genres and styles.

During the project we have have looked at the many components that comprise writing a play for radio. The next task was to explore ideas and pitch stories.  Finally, came the writing.

The stories ranged from the absurd to the tragic,  but each is unquiue and entertaining.

The Levenshulme Players provided the actors,  giving life to these voices.

Nine plays have been recorded and will be broadcast in the new year.  We will also be inviting budding writers to apply.

This project is supported by The Arts Council and Manchester City Council.
